History

Jelogir Caravanserai is a Safavid-period caravanserai and inn in Damab village, Isfahan Province, Iran. Built during the Safavid era, when the Safavid dynasty ruled Iran from 1501 to 1722, it served as a roadside lodging complex where travelers, merchants, and their caravans could rest and find shelter during long-distance journeys.

The site is also known as Jelogir Castle. It was registered as part of Iran’s national heritage under registration number 9047 on 10 Khordad 1382.
